What stops you from apologizing to us, Mr. Yahoo!?

I have been writing ads for seven years. But this is the first time I use exclamation mark and question mark together at the end of a sentence! And, this is not an ad but a word of protest. Protest against plagiarism.

First, Yahoo! ‘surprised’ us with a reckless act of plagiarism. And, inevitably, forced us to question them, as well. A sincere apology, a few words, could have healed the wound and gained Yahoo! its credibility back. But they didn’t do it. Instead, they simply blamed (?) it on a company that provided content for their portal. It might be true that the mistake (a fatal one, indeed.) was committed by some immature, junior guys from the other organization. But it doesn’t mean that Yahoo! can stay away from the responsibility of the deed.

A corporate entity is supposed to behave like a perfect gentleman. Not like a pickpocket in a bus who tries to hide behind someone when a traveler complains about a lost valet.

Aren’t you listening, Yahoo!?
